Summer Vacation CoursesWe have been organising our popular Summer Vacation Courses for over 10 years. Courses run for 3 to 6 weeks in July and August for students aged 9 to 17. They are suitable for students who are preparing for GCSEs, A levels and the IB Diploma, entering a UK boarding school or are just looking for an interesting and rewarding holiday. We offer more in the summer as students are able to study 15 hours of English a week plus 10 hours of other academic subjects. Our own term-time teachers and pastoral staff work on these courses. There is a wide range of subject options and we aim to meet individual needs. Students also take a City and Guilds English examination at the end of their course which means that they leave with an internationally recognised qualification.
Students enjoy a wide range of sports, evening activities and excursions, and there is always something happening to keep the students busy and happy. We use all the excellent facilities at Taunton School including two swimming pools, tennis courts and fitness suite.
The TISC summer vacation courses are small and friendly and I enjoy getting to know each student who comes on our courses. We are always there to help students when they need it and to provide a secure and safe environment for them to enjoy their summer experience.
