Latest Junior International Group News› Poetry at JIGAll the JIG pupils took part in the recent school-wide poetry competition, and came up with some wonderful entries! Though everybody wrote some fantastic poetry, the winning entry was by Carmen Martinez.Who is your friend? Who is your friend? Your friend is the one who always helps you, the one who plays with you, the one with who you talk, the one who listens to you, the one who stays with you in the good and bad moments, your treasure.
Who is your friend? Your friend is the one you laugh with, the one who makes you cry, the one who makes you smile, the one who defends you, the one who thinks of how you are, the one who doesn't laugh at you, are you a good friend?
Blanca herranz-Manas also got an honourable mention for her fantastic poem about love.
So what else have JIG been up to? Well, all the year 8 pupils took part in last week's production of "Down Stepney Way", which went down a storm and was enjoyed by all. Wei-Ting, our Taiwanese musician, has now gone to spend a few days at Menuhen, a specialist music school in London where he wants to go next year. We wish him luck! |
