› The Burke – Debating Society in Taunton School
Last Friday, 2nd November some of the TISC students went to the Debating Society which was in Taunton School. In this debate there were two international girls, one from Kenya and one from Germany. This was their first year in Taunton School and they both spoke about the beginning of the school year and how different it was to their old school. Mostly they talked about boarding, homesickness, lessons and friendship. All this was very interesting to us as we were in a very similar position at the beginning of the year. There should be more debates similar to this one.
