TISC has an inter-house Olympics competition every year at the end of the half term. During this competition, three boarding houses compete with each other in different kinds of sports. In TISC, the three boarding houses are Avalon, Excalibur and Guinevere. Avalon and Excalibur are boys’ boarding houses and Guinevere is the girls’ one.

The sports we participated in were: Table tennis Jenga and Boules. About two days before the Olympics, our house tutors asked the prefects to organise the teams for this competition. So we made teams consisting of 16 students from each house.

This year the winning house was Excalibur. Excalibur won 50 merit slips, Guinevere 25 and Avalon 10.

It was a very happy event for all of the students, but the most enjoyable part of the evening was eating pizza after the Olympics!
