› Taunton School International Football Team secure first win against Wills West.

After close defeats to Wills East and Fairwater Houses, the Taunton School International  football team were eager for victory against a Wills West side which had already lost games to the same Houses by greater margins.
The manager Mr. Horbury sent the players out in an all new formation, which gave a first start in goal to Henrik, as Vova moved up to strengthen the midfield.
In tough weather conditions, we took advantage of the favourable wind direction to dominate the first half, with the new front-line pairing of Oki and captain Shako linking up well. Goals from Shako, Bogdan and a spectacular goal direct from a corner by man of the match Oki, put TSI 3-0 up by half time.
Playing uphill and into the wind, the second half was always going to be tougher for us, and a dramatic come back looked possible as Wills West scored to make it 3-1, whilst Osman missed a penalty at the other end.
However, the boys showed excellent fighting spirit and continued to battle as a team. Their hard work was finally rewarded with another goal from Oki, which put the result beyond doubt.
Final score: Taunton School International 4 – 1 Wills West
