› The Eden Project 09 Gallery

Maria Sivachenko, GCSE student,  writes:

The Eden Project, built in an old quarry is a beautiful place and a haven for geographers and biologists. As students from Taunton School International we learned that "we are a part of nature, not apart from it" by visiting all of the different climate zones in the indoor and outdoor biomes. This is a grand experiment to create a natural database of plants, insects and animals but it is also an entertainment centre making it a pleasure to visit and also making sure that visitors enjoy their day out and feel positive about the effect of people on our planet.
