› Encouraging start for Taunton School International Footbal Team
Mr Horbury, team coach writes: after weeks spent working on fitness and formations, it was good to finally get a competitive match, even if the rain made conditions difficult. Wills East adapted to the weather quicker and immediately opened up a lead. However a couple of long range shots from Mark and Christopher, and a fantastic diving save from Vova meant that we only trailed 3-2. A partisan crowd pushed the Taunton School International team forward after half-time but as legs became tired a couple of breakaway goals guaranteed a hard-fought win for Wills East. Nevertheless the Taunton School International team could walk away from their season opener proud of how they had performed as a team. They are now looking forward to building on this for matches against the other houses. ‹ Back to Latest News
