Boarding and Pastoral

At Taunton School International we place a great deal of emphasis on providing excellent pastoral care, with supportive and caring staff available 24 hours a day. We want to help students to adjust to boarding school life in a small, safe and friendly environment.

Taunton School International has three boarding houses; Excalibur and Avalon are the boys' houses and Guinevere is the girls’ house. Each house has a House Tutor, all of whom are qualified English Teachers, as well as assistants who help the House Tutors. These staff live in the boarding houses with the students and are always there if they need anything; they are caring and approachable and will help students to settle in or assist them if they have any problems. 

Bedrooms are usually allocated on an age basis with the older students having their own single study bedroom and the younger students sharing in mixed nationality bedrooms. The bedrooms are comfortable and well equipped.
